Sydney Red Gum Angophora costata
Angophora costata is commonly known as Sydney Red Gum or Smooth-barked Apple and is a species of tree that is native to eastern Australia.
It can grow to 30 m (100 ft) in height and has distinctive smooth bark that is pinkish or orange-brown when new. It becomes grey with age.

Angophoras do not have a cap on their fruit like Eucalypts and their mature leaves are opposite each other on their stems
